Bartosz Kiedrowski, Rehasport Clinic’s physiotherapist (first from the left), spent busy days during a prestigious relay event in the Bahamas. The IAAF World Relays contest, devoted only to relay races, took place in Nassau. It was at the same time the first qualification event to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games for the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Additional competitions were also held in the 4x200m and 4x800m races and in the mixed relay (1200m+400m+800m+1600m).
The Polish national team members entered all men’s competitions, while among women only the 4x200m race team was lacking. The physiotherapists, including Bartosz Kiedrowski from Rehasport Clinic, had a great deal of work. The Olympic qualification was secured by the ladies competing on 4×400 metres (fifth place), while other medals were won by the Polish team in non-Olympic competitions: the men’s 4x800m race (second place), the women’s 4×800 metres (second place) and the women’s mixed relay (third place). As a team, Poland secured third place behind the USA and Jamaica.
