Chokeberry juice supports treatments of blood pressure. Epidemiological examinations show a positive correlation between consumption of antioxidant-rich food and rare occurrence of coronary heart disease. Journal of Medicinal Food published the results of the impact of chokeberry juice on the blood pressure. The examined were divided into two groups with regard to physical activity. It turned out that after a 4-week supplementation with 200ml, substantial differences in systolic and diastolic pressure were recorded. What is more, a lower concentration of tryglicerydes, total cholesterol and LDL fraction were also noted.
