A new coach was appointed, that is a former outstanding player and now Vive Tauron Kielce carer – Talant Dujszebajew. PhD Tomasz Piontek from Rehasport Clinic will take care of players’ health. – I was appointed as the head doctor of the national handball team and on the 1st of April I am supposed to be present at the training camp in Gdańsk – says PhD Tomasz Owczarski.

Polish players will have a week to prepare for the tournament which will decide about their participation in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. From 8 to 10 April in Ergo Arena in Gdańsk Polish players will encounter Tunisia, Macedonia and Chile – two best teams will make it to the Olympics in Brazil.

– I have operated on many handball players so far, I like this discipline. I support our national team as it is composed of unique and tough players, and I am happy to cooperate with them. If we go to Brazil together, that is going to be fantastic. So far I have been a doctor during the Olympics once and it was a remarkable experience – says doctor Owczarski.
