Before entering medical school, he worked for a year as a paramedic at the Orthopedic Clinic in Poznan under Prof. Degi. He received his medical degree from the Medical Faculty of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 1968. In 1969, he started working at the Regional Hospital in Konin in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology. He completed his specialty training at the Department of Orthopedics in Konin at the Orthopedic Clinic of the IOR in Poznan, the Municipal Orthopedic Hospital in Poznan, the Provincial Hospital for Traumatic Surgery in Piekary Slaskie and the Orthopedic Clinics of the CMKP, the Orthopedic Institute in Dawos. He received his specialization in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery in 1977. Since January 1978, deputy head of WSZ in Konin, and from 1995 to 2016, head of WSZ in Konin. He spent 2 years as an assistant at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Medical Academy in Wroclaw under the direction of Prof. Dr. Gerwazy Swiderski. He was head of the Provincial Medical Staff Development Center in Konin.
As a long-time chairman of WOODKAM, he organized many specialty training courses for nursing and medical staff, many scientific conferences, conventions of doctors of the Konin area and national conventions. As part of orthopedic meetings, he organized several PTO away conferences in Konin, the Hand Surgery Convention, the National 50th Anniversary of Orthopedics Convention in Konin, 28 Orthopedic Days.
As president and then chairman of the SANUS Foundation, he acquired a lot of modern equipment for the WSZ in Konin. Since 1995, he has introduced many modern methods for surgical treatment in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, modernized the department and equipped it with modern operating equipment. He was the initiator of the use of the Thermoablation method for the treatment of cancer metastases to the bone, as an aid to tumor destruction. He systematically supplemented his knowledge and trained several specialists in Orthopedic Surgery.
