Orthopaedist Poznań

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Poznan and the Poznan Academy of Physical Education. He is a doctor by education and a physiotherapist. He is undergoing specialty training at the orthopedic department of the Provincial Hospital in Poznań. He specializes in the treatment of injuries and sequelae of injuries to the lower and upper limbs.

He has turned his special interest to sports medicine. He is currently a doctor for the first team of KKS Lech Poznań. In the past, he was also a doctor for the first team of KS Warta Poznań and the WU-19 Polish National Football Team.

Doctor Tomasz Jaskowiak is an amateur basketball player, cyclist and runner. He has also competed in several triathlons.

Paweł Bąkowski specialises in treating diseases and injuries of the lower limb (hip, knee and ankle joints). His interests focus on arthroscopic procedures, sports injuries as well as paediatric traumatology. In his work he uses the knowledge and experience gained during the courses and trainings he regularly attends. In this way, he continues to improve the way he diagnoses and treats injuries in his patients.

Without scientific development, there is no progress. According to this principle, Paweł Bąkowski, an orthopaedist from Poznań, also devotes a large part of his activity to scientific research. In 2018, he defended his dissertation on percutaneous suturing of a ruptured Achilles tendon, earning a doctorate in medicine. In addition, he participates in scientific projects on the treatment of articular cartilage pathology, meniscus injuries, knee pain, Achilles tendon injuries and collagen supplementation.

In the years 2010-2013 Paweł Bąkowski was a doctor of the Polish football champion KKS Lech Poznań. This period gave him a large dose of experience in working with athletes. He also gained professional experience working in the Orthopaedic Department of the Provincial Hospital in Poznań and the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Children's Hospital in Poznań. Currently works at Rehasport in Poznan.

Maciej Bochenek, MD, is a graduate of the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan. He earned his specialist and scientific title at the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Surgery of the Hand of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, realizing his doctoral thesis entitled. “Evaluation of musculoskeletal loads in the upper limbs and their rims among professional violinists.

Dr. Maciej Bochenek's main interests lie in upper limb ailments, including nerve and tendon diseases, overload syndromes, degenerative diseases or injuries, including sports injuries. Treatment tries to start with non-operative methods, taking into account the use of profiled physiotherapy. In situations requiring surgical treatment, he offers a wide range of surgeries within the upper limb or peripheral nerve diseases of the entire body.

He also treats pediatric orthopedics for congenital malformations and traumatology of the upper limb.

Graduate of the Poznan Medical University. Obtained his first degree of specialisation in orthopaedics and traumatology in 1998, defended his doctoral thesis one year later and obtained his second degree of specialisation in 2003. In 2012 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Habilitation.

Przemysław Lubiatowski is a physician, medical director of Rehasport and member of the Board of Directors. He is the head of the Traumatology and Sports Biomechanics Laboratory in the Department of Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery at Poznań University of Medical Sciences. Przemysław Lubiatowski has also served as Chairman of the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Section of the Polish Orthopaedic and Traumatological Society and President of the Polish Shoulder and Elbow Society.

Przemysław Lubiatowski has completed internships at several medical centres in the United States (Clevlend, Pittsburg and Rockford Orthopedic Associates) as well as in Edinburgh, Paris and Vienna. He was a fellow of the Kosciuszko Foundation and the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

Participant of many training courses in orthopaedics and traumatology in Poland and abroad. Waldemar Woźniak is a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor system. His medical interests are primarily in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee, reconstructive surgery of the joints, hip endoprosthesis including capoplasty, knee and ankle and knee replacement, and sports injuries.

Waldemar Woźniak, an orthopaedist from Poznań, works, among others, at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, the Department of General Orthopaedics, Oncology and Traumatology of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. He is a member of the Medical Commission of the Polish Grass Hockey Federation and a doctor of the Futsal Club Poznań Academy. He is a member of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and the European Hip Society.

Kinga Ciemniewska-Gorzela is particularly interested in minimally invasive surgical techniques and anatomical drawing, and also specialises in paediatric orthopaedics. She was a medical attendant during volleyball matches of the 3rd league, worked at the Children's Clinic of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Poznań and at NZOZ Orthomedica.

Orthopaedist Kinga Ciemniewska-Gorzela specialises in lower limb orthopaedics. She provides treatment for both adults and children of all ages. Uses modern treatment methods in her daily practice.

Graduated from Karol Marcinkowski Poznań University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, where he also received his doctorate. Piotr Ogrodowicz completed internships and specialist courses in orthopaedics and surgery of the shoulder, elbow and hand in orthopaedic clinics in Austria, the USA and the UK. Specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor system. His scientific interests focus on shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, shoulder, elbow and wrist arthroscopy, endoprosthesis of shoulder, elbow, hand joints, research on proprioception and biomechanics of the shoulder joint, and sports medicine and sports injuries. He is the secretary of the PTO Hand, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Section.

Orthopaedic surgeon from Poznań Piotr Ogrodowicz was an assistant at the Department of Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery of the Medical University of Poznań, an assistant at the Department of Orthopaedics of St. John's Hospital in Poznań. He is a doctor of St. Mary's Hospital, Imperial College in London, a doctor of Amica Wronki football players, a doctor of the Polish Senior Olympic Taekwondo Championships in 2010 and a doctor of the National Team of the Polish Athletics Association - European Championships 2010.
