Dr Marek Stawniak is a medical doctor specialising in surgery and orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.

In 1992, he started his postgraduate training at the Department of General Surgery of the J. Struś City Hospital in Poznań. In the following years, he continued his career in several private and public centres, gaining new competences and skills in orthopaedics and traumatology of musculoskeletal system. He carries out operations in the field of deformity correction (scoliosis, excessive kyphosis), vertebral column repositioning, fracture stabilisation, vertebroplasty (also in cancer cases), removal of herniated intervertebral discs, decompression of the spinal canal, injection of intervertebral joints and spinal nerves in cases of pain syndromes, as well as treatment of chiropractic.

Outside the hospital, orthopaedic surgeon Wojciech Jurasz is an active cyclist, duathlete and triathlete - regularly competing in amateur events.

Marta Ślęzak graduated from the Faculty of Medicine I of the Medical University in Cracow. in Poznań. Marta Ślęzak provides didactic activity in the field of Orthopaedics for medical students of the Medical University in Poznań. Additionally, he appoints the position of managing editor of the journal Practical Orthopaedics and Traumatology.

Tomasz Owczarski has been caring for professional athletes for many years. Between 1999 and 2009 he was the doctor of the Polish national hockey team and since 2002 he has been the main advisor of the European Field Hockey Federation (EHF). He also worked with the Polish Olympic Committee, and in 2000 he was the first doctor of the Polish national hockey team at the Sydney Olympics. He operated on many Polish athletes, including the best marathon runner Henryk Szost, and for years he also worked with two-time world pole vault vice-champion Monika Pyrek. Since March 2016, he has been the head of the medical staff of the Polish national men's handball team. He was the team doctor at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where the Polish handball team advanced to the semi-finals for the second time in history, finishing fourth.

Privately, Tomasz Owczarski prefers active leisure and long, often extreme, runs. Among other things, he competed in a marathon in Nepal at the foot of Mount Everest, Patagonia, Bhutan or a winter marathon across the frozen Lake Baikal.

Paweł Cybulski is a member of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (PTOiTr), the Polish Arthroscopic Society (PTArtro) and the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).

He is an orthopaedist from Poznan - Ortopeda Poznań - specialising in conservative and surgical treatment of lower limb injuries (fractures, sprains and dislocations) and degenerative hip and knee changes. Paweł Cybulski is also the day-to-day doctor of the first team of KKS Lech Poznań the football club. Tomasz Piontek is an international trainer of surgical techniques for knee and hip arthroscopy.

Tomasz Piontek has been an orthopaedic surgeon at Rehasport in Poznań since 2006. He previously worked, among others, at the Children's Orthopaedic Clinic in Poznań, was the first doctor of the Amica Wronki football team, and then held the same position at Lech Poznań. He has completed internships at the Balgrist University Clinic in Zurich, the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Traumatology at Queens Medical Centre in the UK, and the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the USA.

He specialises in injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand and conducted research on bone defects in shoulder instability as his dissertation: "Value of two-dimensional and three-dimensional tomography in the assessment of bony defects of the acetabulum and humeral head in shoulder instability".
