Dorota Jaśkiewicz-Nyckowska is a graduate of Medical University of Gdańsk (Medical Faculty). During her studies, in the academic year 2008/2009, she was a scholarship holder of LLP Erasmus in Universita degli Studi di Milano in Italy.
Having received the medical doctor diploma, in 2011 Dorota Jaświewicz-Nyckowska attended a specialist training in the field of dermatology and venereology in Copernicus Podmiot Leczniczy Sp. z o.o. under an eye of PhD MD Maria Czubek. A year later Jaśkiewicz-Nyckowska started doctoral studies in the Dermatology, Allergology and Venereology Clinic at the Medical University of Gdańsk which she has been attending until today.
She initiated her professional career by having a post-graduate internship in 2010 in St. Wojciech Specialist Hospital in Gdańsk. Since 2012 she has been working as a physician, junior assistant in the Department of Dermatology in Copernicus hospital. In 2013-2014 she started working as a lecturer at Higher School of Management in the field of cosmetology and a medical consultant for Oceanic Cosmetic & Pharmaceutic.
She has a long-standing experience in ministerial therapeutic program related to treating plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthiritis. She participated in clinical studies which adopted biologics in psoriaris therapy and atopic dermatitis.
PhD Jaśkiewicz-Nyckowska underwent a series of trainings and courses, among others the following:
- Jubilee Academy of Dermatology and Allergology (2014),
- 22nd International Student Scientific Conference for Students and Young Doctors (2015),
- XII Convention of Polish Family Medicine Society (2015).
As part of her doctoral studies, Jaśkiewicz-Nyckowska publishes articles in renowned trade journals and common elaborations. In her works, she raises matters of her interests, that is skin diseases, such as malignant melanoma, psoriasis and biological treatment.
