A graduate of Medical University of Gdańsk. He completed an internship in endoscopic and sport medicine in the Clinic in Antwerp as well as an internship related to knee surgery and sport medicine in Barcelona, shoulder surgery course in Villach, in Austria, and Strasburg in France. In 2005 he completed an Advanced Knee Arthroscopy Surgery Course in Barcelona, and a year later Advanced Knee, Ankle and Hip Arthroscopy Surgery Course in Vienna. He also participated in Surgeon Global Visit Program in Medical Center of Pittsburg University and Rockford in the United States of America. A few times he was an instructor during shoulder and knee arthroscopy courses in York, England, and Boston, the US.
Maciej Pawlak is an international trainer with regard to shoulder and knee arthroscopy surgery in Smith and Nephew, a licensed PZPN doctor, and Lechia Gdańsk doctor, as well as cooperates with MMTS Kwidzyń handball players. He is a member of Polish Society for Orthopedics and Traumatology and The European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy ESSKA. Besides, he is an assistant in Provincial Department of Orthopedics and Trauma in Pomeranian Traumatology Center in Gdańsk and a Rehasport Clinic doctor.
