PhD Tomasz Grzywacz is a specialist in the field of a physical effort physiology, sport physiology and bioenergetics.
He is a physical education doctor of sciences (specialization – theory of sport, sport physiology). Before he started his doctoral studies, he graduated from the University of Physical Education in Gdańsk with distinction. Thanks to his outstanding grades and achievements, he was granted a few scientific scholarships: scholarship of the Physical Education and Tourism President, Ministry of Education and Mayor of the City of Sopot.
PhD Tomasz Grzywacz has been dealing with his scientific field all the time. He participated in a dozen scientific projects dedicated to sport, and chaired one of them as a manager (ministerial project). He actively participates in international internships and workshops dedicated to physical effort physiology, sport medicine and climbing medicine. So far he has been an author and co-author of over 100 scientific articles related to this field of science.
PhD Grzywacz has an IDCO license (International Doping Control Officer). He cooperates with Olympic sportspersons from Polish Yachting Association.
It is important that we mention his contribution to preparation of Janek Mela’s expedition to both poles along with a group of experts from Marek Kamiński’s Foundation. He was a member of High-Altitude Section of Special Rescue Group PCK. He also cooperated with Gdańsk local authorities and participated in developing a Gdańsk growth strategy by 2015 (as a head of Prevention and Health Promotion Team).

In his spare time, Tomasz Grzywacz is an adamant skier, sailor, mountain climber and speleologist. His passion for sport led him to gain several instructor’s and trainer’s licenses, among others Alpine skiing class II trainer.
