Dairy produce, eggs or fish – provide vitamin A which plays a crucial role in maturing and diversification of immune system cells, that is lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils. Persons who are on a vegan or vegetarian diet should choose a substitute in the form of products rich in provitamin A that is beta-Carotene which has strong anti-oxidizing properties. It can be found above all in carrots, parsley leaves, pepper, apricots and peaches.
Garlic, onion, pepper, raspberries, chokeberries and blueberries due to presence of flavonoids which have anti-oxidizing, detoxifying, anti-cancer, anti-atherosclerosis and anti-inflammable properties.
As they contain selenium, two Brazil nuts contribute to increased activity of immune system cells.
Grapes! – The study involved 78 persons given 355 ml of grape juice for 10 weeks. The participants were asked to resign from red, blue and violet vegetables and fruits. It turned out that a 10-week treatment led to increase in T lymphocytes. Importantly, the juice was utterly made of grapes and devoid of any additives, such as Concord!
