Operated on less than three months ago in Rehasport Clinic’s Hospital, the Poland national team’s player is again on the pitch! Kamil Grosicki made his appearance in the match of his team, Stade Rennes, against AS Monaco.
Kamil Grosicki experienced a severe arm injury in November during the EURO 2016 qualifier against Georgia. He was transported straight from Tbilisi to Poznań and underwent a complicated surgery of elbow ligaments and a broken radius. It was performed by dr hab. Przemysław Lubiatowski, who initially estimated that the break from football training will last about three months. „Grosik” underwent the first stage of rehabilitation in Poznań under the eye of Rehasport Clinic’s physiotherapist, Łukasz Jaworski. The effects were very good – after two months and 27 days he returned to the pitch! The Polish national team member appeared in the squad of Stade Rennes for the 1/8 finals of the Coupe de France match against AS Monaco. The rival is one of the strongest clubs in Ligue 1 – it will soon encounter Arsenal in the Champions League and the stake of this meeting will be the quarter-finals of this competition. Monaco defeated Rennes 3-1 and Grosicki appeared on the pitch in the73rd minute of the match, when he replaced Pedro Henrique, a goal scorer from Brazil.
Kamil Grosicki visited Rehasport Clinic on the last days of January. “I would like to thank you for everything, for the operation, thank you for making me 90% ready to play now” – Grosicki wrote to dr hab. Przemysław Lubiatowski, who was then in Qatar. Now, the footballer is 100 % ready to play and he will certainly be of help to the Polish national team in the match against Ireland in March.
