An 18-year-old forward of Lech Poznań – Dawid Kownacki – will be out of the game four about four weeks as a result of the injury he sustained during the match against Italian Fiorentina in the European League when he scored a goal and set the score result – 1:0.
The young Polish national team player sustained the injury on Thursday evening, and on Friday underwent two examinations in Rehasport Clinic. The second one done with the 3T magnetic resonance resulted in the diagnosis – player missing trainings for about four weeks. In the first period his leg will remain in the special orthosis, plus he can expect intensive work with physiotherapists – says a member of Lech Poznań medical staff, doctor Andrzej Pyda from Rehasport Clinic.
The young player will surely miss the second-leg match against ACF Fiorentina, as well as a few league matches and the Polish Cup match against Zagłębie Lubin.
