Łukasz Jaworski, a physiotherapist, as a carer of Polish national team during the World Luge Championship


Łukasz Jaworski, a Rehasport Clinic physiotherapist, took care of health and good condition of Luge Polish national team who took part in the world’s championship in German Koenigssee.

140 competitors from 24 countries took part in the World Luge Championship. The Polish team is not a leader in this discipline but our top players do well and try to catch up. In Koenigsseee, our country was represented by Ewa Kuls, Natalia Wojtuściszyn and Wojciech Chmielewski in singles and doubles – Karol Mikrut-Patryk Poręba and Chmielewski-Jakub Kowalewski. Our team’s physiotherapist in Germany was MA Łukasz Jaworski from Rehasport Clinic.

In women’s sprint, Natalia Wojtuściszyn performed really well as she came ninth, and was behind Dajana Eitberger, German, just by 0,164 seconds.

In the men’s doubles, Wojciech Chmielewski – Jakub Kowalewski came 11th. In the youth competition Poles turned out to be the best and won a gold medal in the world’s championship in U-23 category.
