Physiotherapy in sport – all-Polish conference and workshops on 18 June!

Fizjoterapia w sporcieRehasport Clinic co-organizes the all-Polish conference entitled „Physiotherapy in sport” which will be held on 18 June in the Conference-Training Center of Nowe Horyzonty Foundation in Warsaw.  

Thanks to the Warsaw conference, all physiotherapists have an opportunity to take advantage of experiences of persons who regularly cooperate with Lech Poznań, Lechia Gdańsk, Śląsk Wrocław footballers, Polish field hokey national team players, handball players, volleyball players and Polish leading athletes. During the conference methods of treating sport injuries will be presented, such as knee joint instability, ankle joint instability, ischiocrural muscles, damage to joint cartilage in knee joint, “tendinitis rotuliana”, spine lumbar section discopathy, shoulder instability and damage to rotator cuff. Numerous issues will be related to shoulder biomechanics, biomechanical functional assessment will be discussed, as well as return of players to sport. Conference participants will learn more about the role of proprioception in the process of preventing injuries, as well as significance of motor control training.

The conference for physiotherapists will be held in the Conference-Training Center of Nowe Horyzonty Foundation in Warsaw at ul. Bobrowiecka 9 in Warsaw. The first session will commence at 9am and will be devoted to lower limb injuries – diagnostics and treatment. Another session will pertain to diagnostics and treatment of an upper limb, whereas in the third part lecturers will discuss the nature of various sports. The last part will be devoted to prevention of sport injuries. All lectures will be followed by workshops.
