Rehasport as a Medical Partner of the SEC!
Rehasport Clinic is now the official Medical Partner of the Speedway European Championship series. The clinic is going to provide medical care regarding motor system injuries, diagnostics and rehabilitation for all riders taking part in the Individual European Championship.
The Rehasport Clinic team is composed of top-class specialists. The clinic is a place of the highest medical competence in the fields of orthopaedics, medical imaging and rehabilitation. Our specialists took care of, among others, the members of the Polish Olympic Team from Beijing and London, as well as they are the members of the Medical Commission of the Polish Football Association. The clinic earned trust of such professional sportsmen as Robert Lewandowski, Marcin Gortat and Tomasz Majewski.
– We are very happy to establish partnership with such a recognised firm. It is not a secret that cooperation with a professional clinic constitutes a part of our philosophy, according to which the health of our competitors is our priority. Therefore, in order to provide comfortable conditions for all the participants of the Speedway European Championships, we have established cooperation with Rehasport Clinic – says Karol Lejman, the president of One Sport. – Of course, we would be more than glad if none of our contestants had to make use of the clinic’s services, but should there be such a necessity – we will recommend contact with a specially assigned medical attendant who will help a contestant recover as soon as possible – he adds.
It is worth stressing that Rehasport Clinic guarantees the priority of service for the competitors, as well as commits itself to perform the Biomechanical Functional Assessment tests twice a year, on a date indicated by a contestant. The clinic will also assign a carer – a medical processes coordinator, who will be available to all the participants of the Speedway European Championships.
Dr Witold Dudziński, the president of Rehasport Clinic, is also convinced about the fruitful collaboration with One Sport. He emphasises that his clinic is the ideal place for the contestants willing to regenerate after the event or have their injuries treated.
– We are grateful for the trust and understanding of a certain significant matter regarding the contribution of medicine to professional sport in the 21st century. Today, there is a well-known and ubiquitous truth about all modern training systems: in the first, second, third or hundredth place – contemporary sport is based on the achievements of modern medicine. Of course it also concerns a positively understood medicine, which presents us with many possibilities to support competitors. The questions of physical, dietary or mental preparation are familiar to us. We want to support sportspeople in a civilised form of war, which professional sport is – comments the chairman of the board of Rehasport Clinic, dr Witold Dudziński.
