The integral part of the diagnostic and therapy process is radiological examinations, currently called diagnostic imaging. The following methods allow having human body structure images:
- magnetic resonance,
- computerized tomography.
A suitable and aimed selection of an examination, professionalism and competent evaluation are the key to a proper diagnosis, or monitoring of the therapy-related process.
The radiological laboratory is composed of the technical staff who perform examinations (electro-radiology techniques) and a physician (radiology and diagnostic imaging specialist) who supervises and evaluates the examination.
The nature of the primary interest of Rehasport Clinic has required from the diagnostic laboratory and its staff a highly-specialist focus on screening injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This part of radiology is not particularly widespread in Poland, and there are few specialists. The aimed purchase of a well-selected radiographic equipment intended to examine motor organs, top-quality ultrasound equipment, as well as personnel’s skills assure that our patients are provided with professional and competent service.
In Rehasport Clinic we carry out the following examinations:
- muscuolskeletal system radiography (X-ray),
- musculoskeletal system ultrasonography (USS),
- internal organs ultrasonography.
- vascular system ultrasonography (Doppler).
