EEG Biofeedback

EEG Biofeedback

A modern method of neurotherapy, improving the efficiency of the brain and increasing the level of self-control over the processes in the body. It is recommended to pupils, athletes, students and managers – all those for whom mental performance it is important.

EEG Biofeedback uses an EEG mind record. EEG Biofeedback improves:

  • Concentration,
  • decision making,
  • memory,
  • faster and more effective learning,
  • better sleep quality,
  • higher self-esteem, greater self-confidence,
  • better self-control,
  • greater creativity, easier shift to creative thinking.

Neuro-feedback uses a property based on the human brain actively producing various ranges of electromagnetic waves characteristic of the different types of activity. eg:

  • Alpha waves able to relax, unwind;
  • Mid-range beta waves capable of strenuous mental effort;
  • Delta waves in deep, regenerative sleep.

The principle of EEG biofeedback is based on the analysis of an EEG-controlled patient through electrodes connected to the system. The patient controls the course of videogry only by his/her thoughts.

During training the therapist adjusts the desired parameters of brain waves of the patient, so to stimulate the formation of new, beneficial patterns or inhibit inappropriate ones.

The spectrum of indications for EEG Biofeedback training are very broad. It can be used among both healthy people who want to improve the efficiency of the brain and reduce stress levels, as well as among people with various diseases, CNS diseases, organ or psychosomatic disorders.
