Sport Stars for Children

The end of „Sport Stars for Children”

In Rehasport Clinic in Gdańsk an event under the name „Sport Stars for Children” took place. The purpose of the event was to collect funds for Fundacja Pomorskie Hospicjum dla Dzieci [EN: Pomorskie Hospice for Children Fund {PHCF}]. Our clinic collected items of great sentimental value with signatures of leading Polish sportspersons, World’s Championship medalists and Olympic Games winners. On Thursday these items were officially granted. During the event, apart from the President of the Board of Rehasport Clinic – PhD Witold Dudziński, also hospice representatives took part, including Małgorzata Bałkowska – the President of the Fund, and PhD Maciej Niedźwiecki – the Chairman of the Fund Council. The items were put up on the auction portal – Charytatywni Allegro (, and the profits obtained in this respect will be granted to the Fundacja Pomorskiego Hospicjum dla Dzieci [PHCF]. The end of “Sport Stars for Children” was supported by Tricity media: TVP Gdańsk, Dziennik Bałtycki [EN:Baltic Journal], portal Tró and Radio Gdańsk.

  • Mateusz Mika’s T-shirt with Lotos Treft Gdańsk volleyball players’ autographs – Polish Cup winners and Polish vice-champions in the season 2014/15.
  • Sebastian Mila’s football national team T-shirt with his autograph
  • T-shirt of the former captain of the Polish national team Marcin Lijewski, the silver and bronze medal winner in the World’s Championships, with SPR Wybrzeże Gdańsk handball players’ autographs
  • Beijing Olympic Games (2008) cap with Mateusz Kusznierewicz’s autograph – a many-time World’s Championship and Olympic Games medalist
  • Mariusz Jurkiewicz’s T-shirt with Polish volleyball national team players’ autographs – bronze medal winners in the World’s Championships
  • Przemysław Miarczyński’s T-shirt from Olympic Games in London with Przemek and Zofia Klepacka’s autographs (Olympic bronze medalists) and coaches: Paweł Kowalski and Cezarisz Piórczyk.
  • Cycling T-shirt of Tinkoff-Saxo group with Peter Sagan’s autograph (Slovak) – current World’s champion in the road cycling
  • Cycling T-shirt of Tinkoff-Saxo group with Alberto Contador’s autograph (Spaniard) – a winner of three Great Tours: Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana.
