A few hundred children participated in the end-of-the-year tournament called Reiss Cup in the Arena in Poznań. People had fun on twelve small football pitches, and girls played together with boys.
Reiss Academy is one of the most prestigious Polish football schools where even four-year-old children gain their first football experience. It operates in a few dozen towns, primarily in Wielkopolska Province. Since the end of November its participants can enjoy St. Nicolas’ tournaments which were crowned at the second last weekend of December in Arena. 12 special small pitches gathered teams composed of six-year-old (and younger) boys and girls. Goals were not counted during these special matches, and two- or three-person teams changed pitches every several minutes.
Rehasport Clinic has been cooperating with Reiss Academy for many years – this year we were also responsible for health and safety of young footballers who took part in this unique tournament, that is Reiss Cup!
